JAS Temporary Single-lane Neighborhood Access Road

Due to the road closures for the JAS Concert and the Brush Creek culvert project, a temporary single-lane access road will be opened for emergency services and residents in the Melton Ranch, Horse Ranch, the Crossings, Rodeo Place & Coffey Place neighborhoods from Thursday, August 31 to Monday, September 4. There will be no JAS access through this route, and traffic control will be in place for the duration of the alternate route.

Church service will not be affected. Alternate routes for bicyclists and pedestrians will remain in place, and transit service will be maintained. Solid waste collection will occur as normal, but residents are encouraged not to overfill dumpsters during the weekend.

Brush Creek & Kearns Road Culvert Project Update

Both culvert projects remain on schedule, with expected completion by early December.

Work on the Lower Kearns Road culvert has started. Two lanes of traffic will remain open throughout the project timeline. Potholing on Brush Creek Road began on August 23 and Lower Kearns Road will be closed starting on Monday, August 28 through the duration of the project.

Crews are currently installing sections of the Brush Creek Road Culvert. Wing walls will be installed next and backfilling operations will follow.

Town Park Project Update

Construction has started! MW Golden is the contractor for the project, and they will be working around the Labor Day Jas Festival. Expect to see the heavy work beginning once JAS had ended. By next summer, the entryway will be beautified, the rodeo grandstands and rodeo arena will be brand new, we will have a new Parks Maintenance Facility, we will have a greatly improved parking surface for both skiers and summer users and more grass turf for playing and programming.

Parking Permits for 23/24 Winter Season

Winter Parking Permits for the 2023/2024 winter season are now available. Residential parking permits will go on sale in early October.

The lottery for Gold & Senior Parking Permits is now open. The number of available Gold & Senior Parking Permits has been reduced from 200 to 100. Senior Parking Permits are restricted to those 70 years of age or older, regardless of whether you have previously held a Senior Parking Permit.
