Chosen by Trail Runner magazine as one of “America’s 14 Most Scenic Races” this classic trail running race from Snowmass to Aspen is an annual sell out that provides 980’ elevation gain and a 1,712’ descent over its 13.1 miles. The Golden Leaf is one of the most beautiful foot races in the Rockies. This 13.1 mile half marathon climbs 980' and traverses from Snowmass Village to the heart of Aspen on mountain trails and roads at the height of Colorado’s breathtaking fall colors.

The VIDA MTB Series focuses on making you a better rider through increased confidence and an improved understanding of the relationship between you and your bike. If you’ve been wanting to descend the steeps, tackle tight switchbacks with ease, overcome obstacles on the trail, learn how to catch air, or become confident on wooden bridges and stunts, join us and discover the rider that exists within you.

The iconic Snowmass Balloon Festival returns to Snowmass Village for its 47th year, September 16-18, 2022. The event will include three days of morning balloon launches, and a Friday evening Balloon Night Glow. This year, spectators are encouraged to drive in, hike up, bike around or walk right up to take in the sights right from where the balloons take flight! After you’ve seen the balloons in all their beauty, stroll the Snowmass Mall or Base Village to enjoy breakfast/brunch and sidewalk sales.

Experience an incredible afternoon of food, flavors, sights, and sounds at the Snowmass Wine Festival, hosted by Rotary Club of Snowmass Village. Returning for its 20th year, the festival features 20 tables of fine food from local restaurants and 35 tables of wine vendors from around the world under one tent at Snowmass Town Park.
