The Snowmass Village employee with the longest employment time will be given priority. All rental applications are prioritized according to the length of employment in Snowmass Village—not Aspen or Pitkin County. The Housing Director may prioritize current tenants, Town of Snowmass Village and Snowmass Wildcat Fire Department employees ahead of the waiting list applicants.Housing

It is not uncommon for an applicant to wait six to 12 months for an apartment to become available. The housing department can tell you where you are on the waiting list, however they do not have a method to determine how many apartments will be turning over from month-to-month, and how far they will move down the waiting list to rent available departments. The longer you have worked in Snowmass Village, the higher priority you will have for receiving an apartment. When apartments become available, applicants will be given 30 days notice to move into the apartment.Housing
