Is there a weight limit on Snowmass Village roads?
Yes. The Town issues and enforces seasonal vehicle weight limitations which requires that all vehicles must not exceed 40,000 pounds GVW on all Town roads between March 15 and June 15 of every year—with an exemption available on some roads. To view a list of exempt roads, and to apply for an exemption, fill out the seasonal weight limit exemption application and submit to the Public Works Department at 3745 Owl Creek Road, Snowmass Village, CO 81615, or by mail at P.O. Box 5010, Snowmass Village, CO 81615.
