Drew Welsheimer joins Snowmass Tourism Team

“We are delighted to welcome Drew to the Snowmass Tourism team,” says Rose Abello, Tourism Director, Snowmass Tourism. “Drew has an incredible breadth of knowledge when it comes to sales tactics and meetings. He has a wide range of leadership experience and a successful sales track record. Plus, he has a passion for the mountains and everything Snowmass has to offer, and we are confident he will quickly add value to our community.

Welsheimer comes to Snowmass Tourism from the Denver area, where he was most recently the Director of Business Development at Atlantis Paradise Island. He has a long career in hotel sales including the Complex Director of Sales and Marketing at Hyatt Place/Hyatt House Denver Downtown, Associate Director of Sales at Sheraton Denver Downtown, Senior Sales Manager at the W Fort Lauderdale, and stints as a National Sales Manager at Gansevoort Miami Beach, Columbia Sussex Corporation, and Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Make your ride the Snowmass Shuttle.

Leave your car at home and hop on our local Shuttle busses. 

The Village Shuttle recorded 88,523 passenger trips in January, the highest total since February of 2020. While we still have a little ways to go to return to pre-pandemic ridership, there continues to be a steady increase in the use of the system. Doo Doo the Right Thing

Pick Up and Pack Out Dog Waste

Pet waste is spotted along trails too often, and the Town is asking pet owners to doo doo the right thing to make sure it isn't left behind.

Dogs are welcome on select Town trails, on a leash, but it is their owner's responsibility to make sure they don't leave anything behind.

The poop fairy doesn't visit Snowmass Village trails, but Trail Rangers do, and they are stepping up enforcement. Failure to pick up pet litter can result in a fine and mandatory court appearance. If the situation arises, make sure you doo doo the right thing and pick up after your dog.
