Summer Finale

September Packed with Events, Music, & Action

As summer dwindles down and the leaves begin to change, Snowmass Village continues to host a robust lineup of events. The September 2022 event lineup sees the return of several longstanding local favorites, such as the JAS Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Experience, the 20th Snowmass Wine Festival, and the 47th Snowmass Balloon Festival, as well as the return of mountain bike races and trail runs.

“September is a spectacular time to be in Snowmass,” says Rose Abello, Tourism Director, Snowmass Tourism. “The views and weather are unparalleled, and the event lineup offers an incredible variety of one-of-a-kind experiences ranging from biking and running to music, wine and balloons!”

And much, much, more... find details on the above events and other offerings online at gosnowmass.com

Town Park Project Update

After the Council’s regulatory approval of the Town Park project, staff continued to work with the designers to finalize outstanding design issues. The project's intended start date for construction was after the rodeo ended for the season, while also working around the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Concert schedule in Town Park. Some mobilization was expected as soon as the Rodeo season ended, with the heavy work beginning once JAS had ended. However, as work progressed, a number of lingering design issues persisted. Resulting, the start date of construction has been rescheduled for August 2023.
