Mini in the Mountains Car Show - Parking Lots 8, 9, and 10 CLOSED
The Mini in the Mountains car club event will bring over 200 cars to the Village, and the group has reserved Village Parking Lots 8, 9, and 10.
These lots will be closed beginning Monday night on August 3rd and will reopen on August 9th. Drivers and guest can expect other lots to fill up early, especially during Thursday's free concert on the 6th. Please plan accordingly, ride the shuttle, and enjoy the car show
Ragnar Relay - August 8th
The Ragnar Relay running race will be finishing right here in Snowmass’ Base Village after beginning at Copper Mountain Ski Resort. Expect race traffic on the Brush Creek Paved Trail as well as the entire Rim Trail.
Parking at Base Village, Village Mall, and the Rodeo Lots are expected to be full. Plan accordingly and ride the shuttle to make your trip much easier.
Komen Ride for the Cure - August 15th
This year, the Komen Ride for the Cure will begin and end in Base Village. 200-400 riders will be using both Brush Creek and Owl Creek roads. Please be patient and drive safely.
USA Pro Challenge - August 19 - 20
Although this year's Pro Challenge race route will not take competitors through Snowmass Village, residents and guests in the area should anticipate traffic congestion and limited parking.
Traffic up valley towards Aspen and over Independence Pass on Hwy. 82 will also be impacted. Make sure you plan your commute, and If you ride the bus (RFTA), find a detailed summary of route/schedule impacts on aspenupcc.com. You can also sign up for PitkinAlert to receive real-time updates to your land line, cell phone, or email.
• USA Pro Challenge teams and event staff will be using Village Lots 10, 11, and 12 beginning on Wednesday, August 19.
• Town staff will begin delivering notices and closing these lots on Saturday, August 15.
• Elbert Lane will be closed to general traffic on Wednesday, August 19.
• Guests will be asked to park in the lower Village Lots, in the Base Village Garage, or at the Rodeo Lot.
• Once the race departs for Aspen on Thursday, August 20, all lots will be re-opened.

Tough Mudder - September 12 - 13
Approximately 9,000 athletes and spectators will be in Snowmass Village September 12-13 for Tough Mudder Colo. The obstacle course utilizes several town roadways, easements, and trails, resulting in several short-term community impacts such as traffic delays, limited parking, and trail closures.
The event will be taking place on Saturday, September 12th from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, September 13th from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.
