Roundabout work at Brush Creek Road & Owl Creek Road starts mid-March

Town of Snowmass Village Media Releases Posted on March 05, 2026 | Last Updated on March 05, 2026

Motorists should anticipate construction impacts at the intersection of Brush Creek Road and Owl Creek Road beginning in mid-March and continuing through November. The project includes construction of a new roundabout, roadway improvements, upgraded bus stops, drainage and utility enhancements, and pedestrian and trail connections.

The Town of Snowmass Village will provide updates as the schedule progresses. While most delays are expected to be minor, drivers should plan for periodic lane closures and traffic shifts. Public bus stops at the intersection will close after the chairlifts shut down on April 13 and will reopen in mid-November. As an alternative, passengers can use either the bus stop at Brush Creek Road Faraway Road or at Brush Creek Road and Sinclair Road.

This $8.5 million project follows public outreach that began in mid-2024 to address safety and level-of-service concerns at one of the primary gateways to Snowmass Village.
