Project Update: No More Dirt Roads

Posted on August 19, 2016 at 2:22 PM by Travis Elliott

Roundabout Rollout

Project Update: Friday, August 19

First Layer of Asphalt Complete:

Upper Brush Creek Road received its first lift of asphalt yesterday, and the entire project now has one layer of asphalt installed. The final layer of asphalt will be installed in late September.

Upper Brush Creek Road will remain a one lane, one-way uphill road for approximately two more weeks. This will allow construction crews to complete work on the sidewalks, crosswalks, bus stops, and retaining wall.

Don't Forget the Aesthetics:

Landscaping work has started. Landscapers have been installing irrigation lines and top soil along Brush Creek and Kearns Road.

Meanwhile, a team of masons are installing the stone veneer on the retaining wall below Town Hall.
