At a regular meeting of the Town Council on August 21, 2023, language for a ballot issue was set by Ordinance 8, Series 2023 for the 2023 Coordinated Election. The Town will have one question appear on the ballot. The approved ballot language is as follows:

Shall Section 8.2 of the Town of Snowmass Village Home Rule Charter be amended to allow for the elected officials to serve on Town Boards and Commissions as non-voting members and as provided by Ordinance?

Town Council approved Resolution 23, Series of 2023 expressing strong support of Ballot Question 2A concerning amending the Town of Snowmass Village Charter to allow for elected officials to serve on Town Boards and Commissions as non-voting members.
