Applications / Permits
Contractors License Application
All contractors working on commercial or residential projects in Snowmass Village require a valid contractor’s license (PDF) which must be renewed every three years, or to match the expiration date of your certification, and a valid Snowmass Village business license. You may EMAIL the completed contractor’s license and pay online or mail in the completed application.

- Contractors license Application/Notarized Affidavit of Insurance
- Current Town of Snowmass business license
- Copy of the front and back of your certification (e.g. ICC testing results, BEST Card, etc.

Please review the Town’s building permit requirements (PDF) prior to submission.
As part of the Building Permit Submittal Package, a stamp of approval must be included from the subdivision’s Home Owners Association or the Snowmass Design Committee. The Architectural Approvals Guidelines of the Snowmass Design Committee are available online.
Special Events Applications

Submitting Applications and Permits
Permit submission requirements are detailed in specific permit applications. If you have any questions on requirements, please contact the Community Development Department at 970-923-5524 between 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing permit applications may be EMAILED. Building permit applications must be completed in person at the time of submittal.
