The Transportation Department manages the bus and parking services within Snowmass Village including maintenance of the related facilities and the anticipation of future transportation needs. The Department assesses transporttaion impacts of development propsoals.
Mission: To provide safe and cost-effective bus service which maximizes mobility while reducing traffic congestion and air polution; to manage the available parking facilities; to present a friendly and professional staff to the public; and to monitor parking and traffic levels to assit in projecting future demands.
MALL PARKING:
The Town aggressively manages the Numbered lots (1-13) in the Mall area to provide parking for residents and lodge guests.
Resident permit applications are available at the Transportation Department. However, residents are strongly encouraged to use the shuttle system.
