Text Messaging in Snowmass!It's not just for your kids anymore! 
Text messaging has come to Snowmass Village in a very important way. We've partnered with Pitkin County in its emergency notification text messaging program; an initiative designed to give you emergency alerts/updates in real-time to your cell phone. With the winter season upon us, and the potential for natural, and man-made disasters high, text messages will be your personal connection to real-time updates, instructions on where to go, what to do, who to contact, and other important information specific to Snowmass Village and/or Pitkin County. And, unique to Snowmass Village, this program will also send you construction information to your cell phone. Know when a road is closed before you head out; know when to avoid Wood Road during heavy delivery times.
