General Election:
General elections in Snowmass Village are managed by Pitkin County. Their website PitkinVotes.org provides information and resources for:
  • Candidate resources
  • Historical election data
  • Information on where to vote 
  • Mail-in ballot registration
  • Voter registration information

New Pitkin County Elections Office Location:
The Pitkin County Elections office has moved. As the Piktin County administration building undergoes major renovation, the Elections department will be located in the Ute City Building; 501 E. Hyman Avenue, Aspen, CO 81611.

2017 Election News:
  • The General Election Date is Tuesday, November 7, 2017
  • Ballots must be RECEIVED by 7pm on election day. Postmarks do not count.
  • One (1) stamp is adequate postage for the 2017 ballot
  • Ballots can also be dropped off at Town Hall.
  • If you have moved, you need to update your voter registration in order to receive a mail ballot.
  • Register to vote or update your voter registration at PitkinVotes.org

2017 Local Ballot Issues:
  • Question regarding the opt out of the Broadband restrictions outlined in CO Bill 05-152.
  • Election for three (3) Aspen School District Board members
  • Election for three (3) Colorado Mountain College (CMC) Board of Trustee Directors
  • Property tax question for the Colorado Mountain College (CMC)

Election Judges Needed
The extraordinary effort of our election judges is what assures the integrity of Pitkin County elections year after year. Judges are compensated and will be assigned positions based on their tech­nical proficiency and interest. Complete an application on www.pitkinvotes.com to sign up. Former judges must also re­apply.
