Roundabout Rollout
April 2016 - November 2016

Roundabout Logo

The roundabout at Brush Creek and Wood Road includes roadway improvements, pedestrian improvements, re-locating utilities, constructing retaining walls, adding bus stops, and landscaping.

Construction is expected to last through October, and the majority of the project is planned to be completed before the 2016-2017 ski season. Some minor landscaping details will be completed in the spring of 2017.

Construction will occur in four different phases, and each of which will bring different improvements and impacts to the community.

The schedules presented below are intended to be a broad overview only, and they are subject to change as the project unfolds. For the latest information and project details, please refer to our  Project Updates.

 Phase 1 & 2  Phase 3 Phase 4
April - July                          July - August     September - November
These two phases were combined to get a majority of the work done before the peak summer season and the 4th of July.

The majority of the road work on both Upper Kearns and Lower Brush Creek Rd. will be completed during this phase. Upper Kearns Rd. closed.
The upper portion of Brush Creek Rd. was be graded and major portions of the roundabout, such as crosswalks and medians were added and improved upon.

Upper Brush Creek Rd. has been re-opened, but concrete and retaining wall work continues to take place in the corridor.
Pedestrians and bikes should use Brush Creek Trail.
Milling, paving, and striping operations will take place, which will require short term one-lane closures. The mini-roundabout will also be installed during this phase. Motorists should expect delays.

Landscaping and final details will be completed in the spring of 2017.
