Getting Around Town

ADA Para Transit Service
ADA Para Transit service is available for those who qualify or have been certified as Para Transit eligible by another transit agency. In Snowmass Village, we strive to be car free.  One of the things that makes this place great is our free, year round shuttle service that can pretty much take you anywhere you need to go within the Village core!  Scroll down to find handy local Shuttle schedules for any time of the year.

Regional Service
There is so much to see and do in the Roaring Fork Valley, and the regional Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA) is here to help you explore!  Click here for RFTA’s website outlining bus schedules, times, fares and much more.  Remember, it is now free to travel between Aspen and Snowmass Village year round.

Parking in Snowmass Village

Town Parking Permits: TOSV parking permits are now on sale for Town Numbered Lots.  Eligible residents and employees may purchase parking permits at the Transportation Office on Elbert Lane.  Parking lots are monitored during the Ski Season from 7am until 1 pm. Call 970/923-2543 for more information.

Base Village Parking Garage: Located at the corner of Wood Rd and Lower Carriage Way. From 7 am- 3pm fees are $5/Hour, first hour free. $15/day max Monday-Thursday; $25/Day max Friday-Sunday & holidays.

FREE Parking: Town Park Station (formerly Rodeo Lot): during the ski season shuttles depart starting at 6:40 a.m. every twenty min. until 7:20 a.m. for the ski area. 10 minute service 7:30 a.m. – 5:20 p.m. HOV (four or more) park free in the Two Creeks lot.

Ski Co Paid Parking: Lots C, E, and Two Creeks are $10 on weekdays and $15 on weekends/holidays. Lot C is only open on weekends and holidays. Snowmass 10-punch passes are $109 and Snowmass seasonal stickers are $319, for Lots E and Two Creeks (also valid at Aspen Highlands). Permits can be purchased from parking attendants from 8 a.m. until noon daily in Two Creeks. Spaces are limited, permits do not guarantee a spot.

FREE Bus Service: The Village Shuttle services 8 routes throughout Snowmass Village all season long.  Also, the RFTA Skier Shuttle runs every 10 – 15 min. from Rubey Park in Aspen. Shuttles run from Snowmass to Aspen from 8:00am – 4:45pm. To access Two Creeks by bus from Aspen, riders must take the #3 Village Shuttle from the mall. RFTA will not be running a direct bus from Aspen to Two Creeks.



Driving Directions to Base Village

Take I-70 Exit 116 at Glenwood Springs and follow the signs for Hwy. 82 – right at 1st traffic light, right again at 2nd traffic light, onto Grand Ave./Highway 82, crossing bridge over Colorado River. Follow Grand Avenue through Glenwood Springs. Grand Avenue turns into Highway 82. Follow Highway 82 for approximately 38 miles. (DO NOT turn at the first sign for Snowmass (note mileage); this will take you to "Old Snowmass.") Continue on Highway 82 until you see signs for Snowmass Village and Snowmass Ski Area and then turn right onto Brush Creek Road at the traffic light, following signs toward Snowmass Village and Snowmass Ski Area. Stay on Brush Creek Road until you pass a Conoco gas station on your right. Continue straight up the hill on Brush Creek Road. At the top of the hill the road forks. Stay on Brush Creek Road, to the left, following the sign to Snowmass Village Mall and parking.
